Joe Bonamassa

I saw him at the Grove in Anaheim back in February and it was fantastic. One of the great guitar players on the planet.

This is from a woman named Cathy, a long-time fan of Joe's who's been going to his shows for a long time, and is definitely personally well known to him. She is a hospice nurse. She had this to say after the show last night (copying from Joe's forum):

I still have a smile plastered on my face. What a perfect night!!! The M&G with Joe being in such a great mood. He did bring me to tears because...Yesterday I told one of my terminal patients I was going to see Joe and he told me how much Joe's music touched him. I decided to get a card signed by Joe to give to him, but I left it in the car. I asked Joe if he would sign it after the show. He said "I can do better than that". He proceded to get a Bobblehead on which he wrote a message to my patient. Any doubters regarding Joe's humanity should be freed from doubt! We've all witnessed it at some point.

This is one of the reasons I'm such a fan of his. He's a good musician, but also a decent human being and someone who is deeply appreciative of his fans.

Good vid from the Baltimore show last Friday, Joe has some fun with the drummer, Tal. Some seriously good drumming in this one! Lots of ad-lib and humor.

Ok nats, I'll just assume that's a double-thumbs-up instead of double-middle-fingers-up...

Paul, thanks for your review, this is on my list. I did watch the 1 hr version that was on HD Net.

The last song BURN.........what can I say as a Deep Purple Fan (besides the band that I was in, in high school did this song!)

You need to get this CD!!!

Thanks heeman, this is a great CD! I've been enjoying it very much. And this afternoon I went back and forth a few times on the song Burn between this album and the BCC video. BCC is quite faithful to the original, and they rock it well! Glenn's voice is pretty great still considering his advanced years  and Jason seriously kills on drums.

On a side note, this is what's on my desktop background at the moment. :happy-smileygiantred:

Razz, how would you like to be an honorary moderator? :handgestures-thumbup:

:eek:bscene-birdiedoublered: ... to both of you. Razz has never even listened to a single JB song, I'm sure.

Just to poke some fun..........

Between JB Goosenecking and GH Open mouth on the BCC Concert, I am not sure what is more annoying................. :eek:bscene-buttred:

Anyway, their music just KICKS ASS!!! :music-rockout:
