Joe's gonna know me by name pretty soon.

Joe: "That stalker guy again?!? :scared-yipes: :scared-yipes: :scared-yipes: Get me out of here!"

You are scaring me just a little, Paul! :scared-yipes:

Yeah, I'm obsessed, I admit it. But I also like artwork, and photography... plus I know (at least from online chats) the guy who took this particular photo. So for all those reasons, this one was irresistible. But I think this will be my last one - not even sure they're doing any more of these lithos. Not to mention the fact that I won't be able to use the tickets until at least next spring, good thing they don't have an expiration date!

The lithos . . . . enjoy, PaulyT
We only pass this way one time . . . . besides, I have a nice black & white poster of Bob Marley in my listening/living room.
:shifty:
(what can I say)

As for Joe's music, he's the only blues player who's seriously impressed me since Stevie Ray Vaughan left us.
When he stays in a deep blues groove, as on "Blues Deluxe", his talent shines like the sun!

He's one of the best I've ever heard

Joe and Jethro Tull...

Psssst. Do you know about this?

And you can thank me by NOT posting video clips of little Joey sitting around a boy scout camp fire singing Kumbaya when he was 7 years old.

Like I said, there are WAY bigger fans than me.

Here 'ya go, Joe talks about the blues.

S'okay, your instincts were good, don't overthink it. :teasing-neener:

Talking about the Blues is like Dancing about Architecture. With apologies to FZ...

 At least he does play some, too, instead of just talking. Anyway the video's not all that critical, I was just browsing youtube to come up with something to satisfy Zing's implicit request for more Joe video content.

So has Joe, Clapton's just been around a lot longer. I agree that Clapton's good, but he's certainly not the only "real" blues player around.

I should have quantified "masters". How old is Joe? I believe the only living blues master, or what I would consider a master is B.B. King. If Joe was born before 1983, it's possibe he could have studied with Muddy Waters?
