Ordered a new album (is that term used anymore?) by Bowie that appeared to get favorable reviews. I am not expecting Diamond Dogs but I am looking forward to it.

That album has been raved about on my musician forum, and was playing for free on iTunes for a time. I meant to pick it up on my way home tonight (drive right past a Best Buy) but you just reminded me I forgot! :( (I'm not a huge Bowie fan, but again, the raves were really strong with this one)

I'm watching the Isle of Wight Festival on Palladia right now, and a band I've never heard of, The Struts, came on. Wow. The lead singer had The Look, and The Voice, mebbe not quite the moves. Reminded me of Freddy Mercury, a Lot! Waddya think?

Fossil Rock:

Bob Seger is going on tour next year, in support of his new album. I was surprised to read his last album came out in 2007 (huh?!), I thought he'd disappeared from sight very soon after I graduated from college. Always wondered what happened to him.

Fleetwood Mac is also touring next year, no new album but Christine McVie has come out of retirement (she's 71!! :shock: ), so they're doing a "Greatest Hits" type tour, the whole "popular" five-member lineup.

Damn, are those kids on my lawn again???? :angry-cussingblack:
