Finally got done watching all 118 episodes via NF streaming. Started on April 14, 2011. I never watched this when it was on broadcast TV.

Good series but it got tired at the end I can see why the finally canceled it.

It has some of the best SQ I have heard via streaming. Especially for a TV series.

For years Flint had lamented about "Numbers" and the sound quality. I still have yet to check out an episode, but someday when I get spare time.

Caught this AGAIN while couped up in the house yesterday, flipping through the channels. I always watch it whenever it's on...

I'm 51, and I watched this tonight, on Palladium, for the very first time:

Great fun! I need to grab some screen shots of Paul's "grandfather" for a new avatar, and I can see why the Monkees were regarded as such a ripoff of them.

Watched "The Outlaw Josey Wales" for the first time last night.

No offense but this movie bored the hell out of me, sure was nice to see Dean Wormer in a bad ass role but other than that, wasn't too thrilled. Why Clint had to have his GF Sondra Locke in every friggin movie he did bugs the hell out of me, cause she is by far the worst actress out there and isn't that pretty. I mean I'd have to have many a drink, a cheap hotel where the roaches are still snacking on the dead hooker under the mattress kinda hotel place, so no risk of any family or friends seeing me with her kinda place. The movie was just one long drawn out nothing with a few "action" if you can call it that. I pretty much guessed he would shoot the rope holding the ferry boat, I saw that one coming a mile away, and I could've done without seeing that old Indian who was older than dirt banging that young squaw. I don't see how this movie is so famous except for the qoute, "You gonna draw dem pistols or whistle dixie" other than that, YAWN!!!

:scared-eek:

Can watch that movie anytime it comes on.

But do agree about Sandra Locke.

Watched this a few nights ago, pretty good. Didn't know anything about the man - Johnny Cash - before this (though dunno how accurate the movie is?), maybe will go look for a greatest hits album or something. Thought Witherspoon was particularly good in this one.

well, to each his own regarding some movies. i love constantine, collateral, and well, 13 warriors, and some may disagree to it. its all good in my book.

Watched Blitz with Statham. Its refreshing to see him in a new role... :happy-smileygiantred:

in seriousness tho, good movie, definitely worth a rental. a couple of loose ends with the side stories, but definitely a good movie to kill time. maybe up with The mechanic (his version)...

Saw Hanna with Eric Bana and Blanchett.

Felt like it was a chemical brothers mtv. apparently the soundtrack was done by them. nonetheless solid movie, borderline blind buy/rental.

Yeah Blitz - they added it in the last week or so.

My first red box rental. They're kinda limited in BD selection; NF definitely has the advantage there. Question is, do I get $18 worth of rentals from NF per month (for the 1 disc plan), compared to $1.59 per disc from red box? Clearly there's some price vs selection vs convenience trade offs here.

Anyway, this was an entertaining action movie, but pretty silly plot-wise. Worth $1.59 though. ;)

DVR'd this one a while ago, just got around to watching it last night.

Kinda silly but entertaining at the same time.......

We discussed the hot chicks about six months ago in another thread. :text-bravo:

I watched "Machete" a week ago I had it DVR'd when Cinemax had it's free preview a few weeks back, man as half mexican even that movie pissed me off, not only for being bad but just bad racial stereotyping, if your gonna insult a race don't do it half assed and just go all out there. Dumb dumb movie. How DeNiro got talked into that one I'll never know.

I also caught Blitz on NF, good movie for what it was, and man oh man did Statham kick some ass especially the first scene with the hocky stick, Good Lord man was that a brutal beating he gave them kids.

This weekend Fry's had a bunch of Blurays for 6.00 so I bought Godfather 1 and 2, Under Siege 1 and 2, Waiting (funny Ryan Reynolds movie), The Notebook (GF favorite) and Hachi (the one about that dog that made me cry, the last two weren't on sale but still cheap enough to buy) watched Under Siege Friday night and US2 last night man I had forgetten how hot Erika Elaniak was and how much I wanted to bang the crap out of her, too bad they gave her a speaking part in this movie.

We've also been watching "Flashpoint" series one on NF and thankfully this is in HD and DD5.1, the GF and I love the series but missed the first sason all together, so we are catching up. Great series about a hostage negotiation team with snipers. GF has a crush on the lead sniper guy with the bald head, funny to hear her mumble, "whoa mama" under her breath and think I'm not listening.
