Hellen Mirron has a great rack.....even for an old lady. LOL!

Just watched Dale and Tucker VS. Evil. Great little horror/comedy that plugs along nicely. :)

Uh... you gotta draw a line at some point (age).

I've seen couple of her movies from the 70's and yes, she did.

Watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 2. Wow was very surprised at how good it was considering part one sucked. Not many movies keep my attention throughout but they saved the best for last. Yes fantastic bass and incredible surround sound especially the Voldemort speaking scenes. This one answered alot of questions considering I never read the book. Just a great action flick.

Picked this one up for $19.99 a couple of weeks ago at Fry's. Not a huge Tom Cruise fan, but to get Top Gun, Days of Thunder and War of the Worlds on Blu Ray was a deal. I never have seen the other 2 movies that are included.

Whatched Top Gun last night.

I'm not a Star Wars fan but my 6 yr old son loves Lego's Star Wars games on the PS3 and he has never seen so we watched the original last nite. Was fun to watch his reaction kept saying that is in one of my levels :D

Ahh but as you get older that line keeps moving.

She'd be fine for this old man.

Cowboys and Aliens

Pretty good. The first half seemed to drag a bit but it definitely picked up. Harrison Ford over acted his role. Eventually I may pick it up used if the price is right.

Oh and Matt this should meet your low end standards.

It may have been so but a man named Hugh Hefner changed all that. :bow-blue:

Wait till you hit 60 and see how many bunnies you got hanging all over your old wrinkled butt.

Now if you have Hef's money it might be a different story.

You'll be surprised how many above average looking young women are more attracted to guy's financial or professional status quo than his looks. Some girls fall for men with authority (power).

True event: Back in 90's, a local widowed man in his early 70's in a town I lived, won $2M lotto. Within days, he started getting calls from chicks in their 20's.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Gold diggers are as old as history.

It is a career path for survival in the modern world to use your looks and belief that love isn't deep or real to make a living.

Super 8

Nicely done. Though not able to surpass, it pays homage to Spielberg's earlier movies.
AQ is very good. Another disc MattB will love (lots of rumble and thumps). The train derailment scene is a top demo material.

We are a diverse group with different tastes.

I put this movie as possible one of the worse this year. Totally boring. It is true the train wreck was a bit cool but that is what this movie was - a train wreck. (just my opinion)

It's no Spielberg (J.J. Abrams' idol) caliber but a lot better than Transformers 3.

Edit:

I went in knowing nothing about the movie, no plot line, no trailer (except super 8 camera being in it), no nothing and felt that it has a good suspense and interesting story line. Granted, the object being dealt with is not very realistic but so are some of Spielberg's movies and he pulled it off well. As for acting, the fat kid's acting was inconsistent from time to time but the rest were better than some of adult actors / actress around these days.

mz, just wondering, what didn't you like about this movie and what do you think could have been done differently that would have made it better?

We've been doing the exact same thing! Daughter (7) and I just finished (in story mode anyway) the SW Lego game, and just yesterday we watched Return of the Jedi (first time for the girls).
