Classic Tunes, Classic videos

Another Great Canadian Power Trio (that's a GTG joke for Heeman and some of the others).

Not a "classic" video, but a Classic song, for which I wasn't aware there was even a video. Audio features a Hammond and a piano, video features a Rhodes, ah well. I still don't know which one is Elvin Bishop (the singist is Micky Thomas)....

I don't know what happens to cause an incredible memory to burst back into your brain, 15 or so years after the fact, but I'm glad it happens. My last band Puddlestone did this one, and it was SO MUCH FUN! The crowd really got into it too, even the younger ones who didn't know Brownsville Station. I just danced like 30 years ago, spilled a beer, broke a framed picture, and put a fist-sized hole in the sheetrock (on the ceiling!). FUN!!

:happy::happy::happy:

During a "best guitar solo" discussion on another forum, I brought up Dire Straits' Telegraph Road, which I've cheered about here before. Found this video, it's not an "official" video but its very well done (if a bit fuzzy). When you have 14 minutes, watch/listen to this:

After searching youtube to find out who sang a particular song I found out the artist also sang this one!!
